Why body weight why not. Its who we are and in our nature. Its fun, invigorating, can be done anywhere with anything. In the time of ancestors we ran, walked, carried objects, sprinted, moved slow with constricted muscles, traveled long distances, swam, jumped, climbed, crawled. We moved in general. There is so much to be written on body weight workouts, so lets start with some basics.
The top three
Push Ups - Pull Ups - Sit Ups
Of of those three there is a million different variations.
One great workout with just those three is doing five sets no rest till failure. Your going to hit your back, shoulders, chest, arms and abs while exhausting yourself going at it hard getting your cardio in.
